Black Jack Tables 2/2/2 Rated/Protected BLACKJACK EQUALS 21 (TWENTY-ONE) Your canastas must equal 21. If you put up Aces as your first canasta, any additional canastas you put up MUST equal 21. Anything other than 21 and you lose. You must have 21, or BLACKJACK to go out. NO MORE. NO LESS! In Las Vegas if you go over 21 you ““BUST””. Same thing here. If your canastas total OVER 21, you LOSE and the game is called. HINTS: ACES score as 1(one) OR 11(eleven) in BLACKJACK if you put up Aces as your first canasta, and then you put up Kings, you have reached 21. No more canastas may go up. Even if you have more canastas they may not go up, you have reached 21. The only exception is if your 3rd canasta going up is a "10 pointer" (10,J, Q, K or a combination 6 and 4 equals 10. 7 and 3 equals 10 etc) Some brave souls may opt to use the ACES as one point vs. eleven points to try for more canastas. But be careful! You must equal 21 (BLACKJACK) to go out. NO MORE. NO LESS! If you put up 7s and 4s, you have 11(eleven). Clubs are Wild Tables 2/2/1 Rated/Protected All CLUBS are like Black 3s. If there is a CLUB on top of the pile you CANNOT pick it up. You cannot pick up the pile on a CLUB ever. The trick is to toss all your junk cards and then the black 3s and then toss the CLUBS as wilds. Keep your 2s and Jokers for Canastas or until needed. Meld any time. Out any time. Take the pile (Just not on a CLUB).

Colt 45 Tables 2/2/2 Rated/Protected You must have 4s AND 5s melded before making any canastas, you must canasta either the 4s or the 5s before making any other canastas, if u make red canastas in both 4s and 5s you win automatically, you may pick up n freeze the pile.

Cracked Mirror Tables 2/2/2 Rated/Protected You may not meld anything your opponent has melded. Whether it is canastad already or not. The only circumstance in which you may meld what your opponent has down is if you make it directly into a canasta. EXAMPLE: Jane has queens down on the table. Linda has 3 queens in her hand. Jane discards a queen, Linda has 3 queens plus 3 wilds, and therefore she can pick up the pile and make a canasta out of the queens. So she must first highlight the 3 queens, and the 3 wilds, and then click on the pile with the mouse and when the wild meld box comes up she must put all three wilds on the queens. This is the only way she can pick up the pile. If she had only 2 queens she could not pick the pile up because she wouldnt have a canasta out of the cards. In other words Jane had melded Queens First, Linda cannot meld Queens now but if she had 3 Queens in her hand, she could pick up the pile on Queens and put it directly into a canasta As Long As Is Never Hits The Table. If Jane puts up a canasta of Kings Linda Still cannot meld 3 kings after Jane has made a canasta they must be used as discards. You cant let them hit the table or you are Dqd. NOTE: The real trick to Cracked mirror is Meld Fast your opponent cant meld what you have laid down so meld fast in this game

Crazy Eights Tables 2/2/1 Rated/Protected All 8s are like black 3s. If there is an 8 on top of the pile you cannot pick it up. You cannot meld 8s ever until you are going out. Use your 8s as wilds to block the pile. You cannot pick up the pile on an 8 ever. 8s MUST be the last thing melded or canastad when going out. You can go out anytime

Crazy Red Threes Tables 2/2/1 Rated/Protected You must to wait until ALL the red 3s are out before you are allowed to put up canastas. You can have canastas in your hand and ready to go but you CANNOT put a canasta up until all the Red 3s are out. After all red 3s are out you can put your canastas up, but you need a MINIMUM number of canastas equal to the amount of red threes that you have drawn to go out So if the Dealer only gave you 1 red 3, and your opponent got 3 Red 3s, you only NEED a MINIMUM of 1 canasta to go out, he needs a MINIMUM of 3 canastas to go out. If you drew 2 Red 3s and you opponent got the other 2 Red 3s, you both need a MINIMUM of 2 canastas to go out. You may put up as many canastas as you wish once all the red 3333s are out. Red Canastas or Black Canastas are fine. If you get all 4 Red 3s you lose the game. If the last RED 3 is the last card in the deck, no one gets to put canastas up. Meld what you have and slap the dealer!

Dale Jr 8 Tables 2/2/1 Rated/Protected Pile is up for grabs. Must have 8s melded before you can go out. Red canasta in 8s is an automatic win. Game is cancelled or you may choose to play it out for the points, your choice, But if you play it out and lose, you lose game.

Determination Tables 2/2/2 Rated/Protected In this tourney you may only canasta either odd (5,7,9,J,K) OR even (4,6,8,10,Q) cards. Aces may be melded or canastad by both players. You may meld anything but only what you canasta matters. THE FIRST CANASTA MADE OTHER THAN ACES DETERMINES WHO HAS ODD OR EVEN. This starts over each hand.

Devils Delight Tables 2/2/2 Rated/Protected This game is played regular cut canasta but here's the catch, the first person to touch the pile is declared the "Devils Delight". By being the "Devils Delight" that means you can only make red canastas, no black canastas. If you make a black canasta then you cant touch the pile. The other player (whos not the Devils Delight) may make black or red canastas. The player who touches the pile needs to say Devils Delight at the table, each hand. You can go out at any time.

Diamonds are Wild Tables 2/2/1 Rated/Protected All DIAMONDS are like Black 3s. If there is a DIAMOND on top of the pile you CANNOT pick it up. You cannot pick up the pile on a DIAMOND Ever. The trick is to toss all your junk cards and then the black 3s and then toss the DIAMONDS as wilds. Keep your 2s and Jokers for Canastas or until needed. Meld any time. Out any time. Take the pile. Just NOT on a DIAMOND

So for every color canasta you must have another just like i.e.(R, R.B, B...R, B, B, R...R, R, B, B...R, R, R, R...B, B, B, B)

Dr Pepper Tables 2/2/2 Rated/Protected Your initial meld each hand must be made with 2 and 4 and 10 only. You may use any combination but all 3 must be melded in initial meld. You must wait until your next turn to meld any other cards. 2s, 4s and 10s MUST BE MELDED FIRST. You can take the pile and go out at any time.

Elevator Tables 2/2/1 Rated/Protected If you have to meld 15 or 50 you only need 1 canasta to go out. When you need 90 to meld you need 2 canastas to go out. 120 meld requires 3 canastas to go out. Game is regular canasta.

Elimination Tables 4/2/2 or 4/2/1 Rated/Protectd Each team consists of 3 or more players. All team members are at the table. The first person on either team to lose the hand by hand score (not total score) is eliminated and must give up their seat to the next person on their team. You will not play again. This is a process of elimination until the last person remaining. The last person or persons remaining on one team is the winning team and will advance. This is random partners. The game score does not count; it is only the hand score if game ends before all eliminated then you start a new game. TABLES UNRATED 2/2/1 or 2/2/2 depending on game played. If a player DQs only that player leaves the table...

Evil Red Cut Tables 2/2/2 Rated/Protected This game is played as regular cut singles BUT you can only go out if you have ONLY ONE red 3. If you get none, 2, 3 or all 4 of the red 3s you cannot go out. So, as soon as you only have only one red 3 you want to go out because if you draw another red 3 you cant go out. You can make as many canastas as you want but you just cant go out if you have more or less then one red 3.

Exact Meld Tables 2/2/2 Rated/Protected This special tourney has 1 special rule. You MUST meld the exact amount. Example, 50 meld you must meld exactly 50 NOT 55 or more same goes for 90 and 120 melds. You must meld your exact meld (15, 50, 90, 120) then allow your opponent to count your meld and then you may meld your remaining meld. Please ask your opponent if they've counted your meld before proceeding with remaining meld.

Frostbite Tables 2/2/1 Rated/Protected The first person who melds is the only person who can freeze the pile. You must type FROSTBITE in the room chat if you melded first. You may go out at any time.

Gin Tables 2/2/2 Rated/Protected You may not meld unless you are going out. However, you may make canastas straight from you hand. To pick up the pile, you must be able to make a canasta using the top card of the discard pile immediately

Go Fish Doubles Tables 4/2/2 Rated/Protected THIS GAME REQUIRES THAT KIBITZ MUST ALWAYS BE TURNED ON SO THAT THE TD CAN SEE ALL CARDS. MANY, MANY HATFIELD AND MC COY FUEDS ARE AVOIDED BY THE TD KIBITIZING DURING THIS GAME. IN SMITTYS LEAGUE IF THE TD CANNOT KIBITZ THE GAME FOR YOU HE/SHE WILL ASSIGN A VALUED PLAYER TO ASSIST AND KIBITZ. Throwing a black 3 entitles your PARTNER to ask their opponent for a card, NOT YOU. Sally and Sue are playing Jack and Joe. Sally throws a black 3, Sue (HER PARTNER) immediately gets to say, "Jack do you have any Queens?" Jack must throw the Queen to Sue or say, "Go Fish" and discard as usual. This becomes a lot of fun because when you throw the black 3, it is your PARTNER who immediately gets to ask for a card. HINTS AND TIPS FOR GO FISH If Sally asks you for a 6 and you have a 6 in your hand and you DRAW two 6s. You may meld and go out with NO DISCARD. You are completing your play by going out. You may NOT however meld the 6s Sally asked for and throw her a 10 as an out discard. She asked for 6s and in that case you MUST throw it. The only time you may meld what Sally has asked for is if you are going out WITH NO OUT DISCARD. If Sally has just asked Jack for a Queen and Jack said Go Fish toss Jack a Queen he doesnt have any. No need to guess the TD is kibitzing remember? You DON’T have to pick up the pile when you toss a Black 3 and ask for a card. Use it as a blocking tactic. If Jack has 4 ACES on the table and Sally thinks he is holding 2 more for a possible red she can ask and make him toss it. She is not required to pick up the pile at all. She can use this as a blocking tactic. Yes, you can ask for a wild. It freezes the pile and you cant take it but many times it helps. Yes, Sally can ask Jack for a Black 3. Jack must throw it. Jack cannot ask for a card because he had to throw the black 3 to fulfil your request. This is another good tactic to use. Good luck and GOOOOOOO FISH!

Grand Slam Dunk Tables 2/2/1 Rated/Protected You cannot meld anything unless you can go out directly. Thats it easy. You cant meld unless you can go out. Hangman Tables 2/2/2 Rated/Protected This game is regular canasta BUT here's the catch. The first canastas have to be either Aces or 8s. If player 1 makes a canasta in Ace's before player 2 does then player 2 has to make a canasta in 8s. If player 1 makes a canasta in 8s before player 2 does then player 2 has to make a canasta in Aces. So whoever makes the first canasta (Aces or 8s) the other player has to make the other. You can’’t make a canasta in both Ace's and 8s.

Lucky 7s Tables 2/2/2 Rated/Protected You MUST meld with 7s in your initial meld (you can use wilds and you can pick up the pile as long as you meld 7s with your meld at the same time). First person to meld 7s is the only person who can go out that hand.

Lucky Ladies Tables 2/2/2 Rated/Protected Regular canasta except you cannot meld queens unless straight from you hand to a red canasta, you can go out whenever you want.

Max Out Tables 2/2/1 Unrated/Protected The player who gets the most canastas in one hand wins the game.
