Go Fish Singles Tables 2/2/2 Rated/Protected
THIS GAME REQUIRES THAT KIBITZ MUST ALWAYS BE TURNED ON SO THAT THE TD CAN SEE ALL CARDS. MANY FUEDS ARE AVOIDED BY THE TD KIBITIZING DURING THIS GAME. IF THE TD CANNOT KIBITZ THE GAME FOR YOU HE/SHE WILL ASSIGN A VALUED PLAYER TO ASSIST AND KIBITZ. When you throw a black 3 you are entitled to ask your opponent for a card. So if you throw a black 3 you will say, "Jill, do you have any Kings?" Jill Must give you a King (Which will enable you to pick up the pile). If Jill has no Kings she must reply, "Go Fish" and she will throw any card she chooses. You will find in this game if you control the black 3s you can control the game by continually taking the pile. Try this for an added twist; ask Jill is she has a black 3 or a wild. When Jill is forced to throw a black 3 that way she can’’t ask you for a card. HINTS AND TIPS FOR GO FISH If Jill asks you for a 6 and you have a 6 in your hand and you DRAW two 6s. You may meld and go out with NO DISCARD. You are completing your play by going out. You may NOT however meld the 6s Jill asked for and throw her a 10 as an out discard. She asked for 6s and in that case you MUST throw it. The only time you may meld what Jill has asked for is if you are going out WITH NO OUT DISCARD. If you have just asked Jill for a KING and she said “Go Fish“ toss her a KING she doesnt have any. You DONT have to pick up the pile when you toss a Black 3 and ask. Use it as a blocking tactic. If Jill has 4 QUEENS on the table and you think she is holding 2 more for a possible red, ask, make her toss it. Yes, you can ask for a wild. It freezes the pile and you cant take it but many times it helps. Yes, you can ask Jill for a Black 3. She must throw it. She cannot ask for a card because she had to throw to fulfil your request.
